Students must be degree-seeking (matriculated) in a degree or certificate program
and have a good academic standing. ¸Û°Ä±¦µädefines good academic standing as a cumulative
GPA of 2.0 or above.
Financial aid is available for eligible students. Students must start the process
for cross-registration at least 8 weeks ahead of the planned semester to attend a
host school. The cross-registration application will ask if you plan to use aid to
pay the host school. Upon review of eligible degree courses as approved by Advisement,
the Financial Aid Office will review eligibility to use financial aid.
Courses must be applicable to your degree at NCC.
All SUNY campuses have a separate procedure to apply for Study Abroad. For further

Submit the SUNY Cross-Registration Request web application found at . The request is subject to approval from multiple offices on both ¸Û°Ä±¦µäand the other
SUNY campus. Plan to apply at least 8 weeks in advance.
Each campus may request additional information upon review of your application. Students
may be required to submit:
- Residency Certificate for their county
- All students are required to comply with Nassau's immunization policy. Learn more information regarding immunization compliance.
- Immigration documents for review of eligibility of in-state tuition.
If the Cross-Registration application is approved, students may register online during
published dates for non-degree students.
¸Û°Ä±¦µäreserves the right to deny cross registration requests in cases where the course
is available, but the student wishes to take the course at a different time due to
non-academic conflicts. Nassau may limit cross registration based on: degree residency
requirements as outlined in the college catalog. Students must meet both Home and
Host campus deadlines for approvals, changes and registration.
Students must indicate their plan to use Veteran Education Benefits in the Cross-Registration
Request Application. After, you register online for the course approved, please stop
by the Registrar's Office, Student Services Center to speak with a School Certifying
Official as additional paperwork may be required in order to receive your benefits.
¸Û°Ä±¦µästudents will see cross registered courses as transferred credit, therefore, any
grade earned at another college is not calculated in your major or overall GPA.
