  • Nassau students, review the Nassau CLEP Equivalency list  or work with your academic advisor. Before registering with the CollegeBoard for any exam, ALWAYS check with the institution awarding credit, to ensure it is accepted. 
  • Do you want to test for free? Visit    Most candidates that complete the free, self-paced online review are eligible for a voucher to cover the College Board CLEP fee $93 and apply for reimbursement of the $50 administrative fee paid to NCC!
  • CLEP candidates must create an account with   
    • When registering for the exam through the College Board website, do not choose the remote option. ¸Û°Ä±¦µädoes not support the remote option.  
    • If you received the Modern State voucher, you can use that to pay the CLEP $93 test fee. If not, you pay the $93 CLEP test fee with a credit or debit card.  
    • You will receive a CLEP Exam Registration Ticket after you registered. Bring the CLEP Exam Registration Ticket on the day of testing.  
    • Select your date and processing fee of $50.

To reserve your seat for a DSST exam:

  • Review the list of available exams at .
  • Nassau students, review the Nassau DSST Equivalency list  or work with your academic advisor. Note: Nassau does not offer the Public Speaking exam.
  • Scheduling and Fees:
  • You will pay the DSST fee, to Prometric by credit card the day of the exam. Exam fees vary.
  • Select your date and processing fee of $50.

All candidates, day of testing:

  • Candidates should arrive 15 minutes early to any exam. Government issued Photo ID is required to test. (The actual ID is required, not a picture on your phone)
  • CLEP candidates must bring a hard copy of their CLEP registration ticket.
  • If the college is closed because of weather, it will be announced on the news and on .

Testing location is Building U / The Center for Students with Disabilities. .
