Students are placed on academic probation because they have not met the minimum grade point average required to be a student in good standing. Students on academic probation may register for a maximum of 12 credits. They are also in danger of academic dismissal.
Prior to registration students are encouraged to see a counselor in the Center for Educational and Retention Counseling (CERC). This is a serious matter that requires time to discuss and find solutions to your academic situation. ¸Û°Ä±¦µä places great importance on helping students achieve success.
Students registered with the Center for Students with Disabilities (CSD) are to meet with their CSD counselor.
To make an appointment with a CERC Counselor go to Nassau Hall (Bldg. M), Room 4, or call 516.572.7141.
