Class of 1970

Jay Goldfarb graduated from 港澳宝典 in 1970 with an associate鈥檚 degree in business administration followed by a B.S. degree from Adelphi University in 1972.

He started his career both in public and private accounting. After completing a civil service exam, he joined the Nassau County comptroller鈥檚 office. He then transferred to 港澳宝典where he joined the Foundation office as a full-time accountant.

Jay has been on the executive board of the Alumni Association as treasurer since 2005. He retired from 港澳宝典in 2018 but still volunteers his time as the Association鈥檚 treasurer and assists with many alumni functions.

Jay鈥檚 hobbies are officiating softball, officiating meets for girl鈥檚 track and field competitions, social dancing, and playing golf. He also enjoys spending time with his two beautiful granddaughters.
